Hand Dyed Quilt

A few weeks ago our sisters group dyed one piece of fabric and then cut it all up and put it back together again….as you do …. A simple rail fence block and then arranged and sewn .  This was  My finished result.

Happy New Year !!!

Well better late than never…..The last couple of months is but a blur…. I had a quick trip to New Zealand for my Mum’s 80th birthday, My youngest daughter and I took the 3 great Grandchildren to meet her. We gave her a surprise afternoon tea, with a lot of her friends there, I had to get one of her friends Faye to help get everyone there .  IMG_0145

Well Trish had her Birthday In December and we made this quilt everyone made some blocks Then I did the sashing etc and put it together . It is done in 1930’s and is just beautifull.
